“Unfinished Lights” director Mostafa Soltani honored at Indian festival
TEHRAN – Mostafa Soltani from Iran has won the award for best director for his movie “Unfinished Lights” at the 5th Noida International Film Festival in India.
The film is about a writer named Jalal who lives in poverty, but ignores suggestions to write something challenging his ideology.
The winners of the one-day festival were announced on January 28, the organizers have announced.
“Dad Is Pretty” by Soo-min Park & Seung-hyeob Kim from Korea won the best feature film award.
The festival is a tribute to the city Noida where Miniboxoffice, India’s only independent short films marketing, promotion, distribution and film festival organizing company, was launched in 2010.
The goal of the festival is to empower independent filmmakers and help foster the growth of independent filmmakers.
